The One Man Band, Inc. is a National Musical Instrument Trading Company which specializes in trading with public and private schools as well as universities. The One Man Band travels the entire continental United States with our unique "We Come To You" Trade-in Service.

Our Trade-in Service allows schools to take the value of their unused, unrepaired, and obsolete, instruments regardless of condition and trade them into musical instruments the same day. We don’t require you to make a list before you call just a general idea of what you might have available to trade-in is all you need. The One Man Band will come to your school free of charge and evaluate your instruments with you on site.

Our extensive used inventory coupled with our new inventory gives band directors an almost unlimited variety of options to choose from. Cash Service

The Cash Service is always available but in the end nets you less than our Trade-in Service. Most Band Directors agree that in almost every situation the instruments we provide are much more valuable to their programs than cash. But if you choose the Cash Service, we are more than happy to issue a check to your band or school the same day we pick up your instruments.

Credit Service

The Credit Service is an extension of our Trade-in Service. It provides another way to get the most out of your trade. If you aren’t quite sure what your band program needs and don’t want the Cash Service we will issue you a credit good for one year from the date of trade. This gives you plenty of time to make a decision as to what your band needs. If this credit is not used within one year an automatic cash-out check will be issued. If you need an extension of up to 3 months to use this credit you may call our office before the expiration date to make additional arrangements.
